Brittany Snow Joins Josh Gad's NBC Comedy Pilot 1600 PENN

According to TVLine.com, actress Brittany Snow will be joining the cast of the upcoming NBC comedy 1600 PENN. Book of Mormon's Josh Gad will star and produce the project which will be directed by Jason Winer (Modern Family).

The actress will play 'Becca' described as an "overachieving and perfectionist eldest daughter of the President who helped raise her siblings." Gad is set to play her older brother, Skip.  

Snow gained fame as Meg Pryor on "American Dreams," but had previously been seen on "The Guiding Light" for three years. She appeared in the role of 'Amber' in Adam Shankman's film adaptation of the Broadway musical 'Hairspray'. Her other film and TV credits include "Nip/Tuck," The Pacifier and the teen comedy 'John Tucker Must Die.'
