MSG Entertainment has just announced that Brandi Carlile's shows at the Beacon Theater in New York tonight and tomorrow (10/29) have been postponed due to weather and the upcoming shut down of public transportation.

Carlile's representatives are requesting that ticketholders hold onto their tickets as they work to reschedule the shows. An announcement about new dates is set to be released soon.

With several popular albums including The Story, Give Up the Ghost and Live at Benaroya Hall with the Seattle Symphony (which reached No. 14 on the Top Rock Albums chart), Carlile has earned her reputation as a fearless and consummate performer who is undoubtedly in a class of her own with her unique brand of folksy Americana. She has worked her way up from playing acoustic at Medin's Ravioli Station and busking at Pikes Place Market, to fronting her six-piece band at The Ryman Auditorium and leading a symphony at Benaroya Hall.
