Boyd Gaines Wins Best Featured Actor In A Musical!

 Boyd Gaines has won the 2008 Tony Award for best featured actor in a musical!

Gaines starred in the Off-Broadway revival of the show, and has also been on Broadway in Journey's End, Pygmalion, Twelve Angry Men, Cabaret, and Company among others.

Producers Roger Berlind, The Routh Frankel Baruch Viertel Group, Roy Furman, Debra Black, TEd Hartley, Roger Horchow, David Ian, Scott Rudin and Jack Viertel present a new Broadway production of the great American musical Gypsy, starring Tony Award winner Patti LuPone. Gypsy reunites LuPone with both Gaines and Laura Benanti. Directed by multiple Tony Award winner and author of the musical Arthur Laurents, Gypsy began preview performances on Monday, March 3, 2008 and opened on Thursday, March 27, 2008 at Broadway's St. James Theatre (246 West 44 Street).

Tickets for Gypsy are $117.00 - $42.00 and are available through Telecharge at (212) 239-6200 or www.telecharge.com or by visiting the St. James Theatre box office. Premium seating is available. Preview performances are Monday through Saturday at 8 p.m., Wednesday and Saturday at 2 p.m. There is no performance on Friday, March 28, 2008, however a matinee performance has been added on Sunday,
March 30, 2008. Beginning March 31, performances will be Tuesday through Saturday at 8 p.m., Wednesday and Saturday at 2 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m
