Boiler Room Theatre Presents I DO! I DO! May 13-June 11
Just in time for wedding season, the Boiler Room Theatre (at The Factory at Franklin, 230 Franklin Rd, Bldg 6) celebrates old-fashioned matrimony in all its glory and heartbreak with this musical adaptation of Jan de Hartog's play "The Fourposter."
Created by "The Fantasticks" creative team of Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt, the first two-person musical to hit Broadway won a Tony Award for Robert Preston. The show follows Michael and Agnes, a couple at the turn of the last century, from mutual wedding-night jitters to sadder-but-wiser old age.
Director Scott Logsdon's staging stars Corbin Green and Sondra Morton. On stage May 13 to June 11. Tuesdays at 8 p.m. (2-for-1; no other discounts apply); Thursday evenings at 8 p.m. (May 26, June 2); all Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. Discount Sunday matinees at 2 p.m. on May 22 and June 5.
Tickets $27 adults, $25 seniors (over 60) and students, $21 children.
