'Blithe Spirit' to Run at Trinity Rep March 28-April 27

Trinity Rep's next offering of the 2007-2008 theater season will be Noel Coward's Blithe Spirit, directed by Curt Columbus. The show opens in previews March 28 and runs through April 27 in Trinity Rep's Chace Theater.
In Blithe Spirit, "Sardonic writer Charles Condomine is a newlywed who unwittingly conjures the ghost of his first wife Elvira, with the help of an eccentric medium. Elvira promptly moves in and becomes an otherworldly nuisance for her husband and his new wife, Ruth." explains press notes.Creating the late 1930's period feel of the play are set designer James Schuette, resident costume designer William Lane, lighting designer John Ambrosone, and sound designer Peter Sasha Hurowitz.
The first performance of Blithe Spirit on March 28 at 8:00 pm is Pay What You Can (PWYC). PWYC tickets go on sale at 7:00 p.m., limit one per person. Regular ticket prices for Blithe Spirit range from $20 - $60, with $10 seats on the Chace Theater's 12th row bench.
