According to reports from AntiMusic.com, Tony Iommi has recently revealed that the band Black Sabbath was once offered the opportunity to have their music be the inspiration for a Broadway show.

At the time, the band rejected the idea as "weird." Since then, musicals like Queen's WE WILL ROCK YOU enjoyed success. But Iommi still doesn't think they would consider it when their latest album is released next year.

The guitarist told VH1, "We might be jumping on the bandwagon at that point."
