As previously announced, "Stronger Together," a special evening to benefit the Hillary Victory Fund, will bring together the biggest names from Broadway and Hollywood, featuring live performances and special guest Chelsea Clinton.
The night will feature never before seen duets and collaborations, all to support Hillary, on Monday, October 17 at the St. James Theatre (246 West 44th Street, New York, NY 10036). Billy Crystal will host.
Just added to the evening's lineup are HELLO, DOLLY!'s Bette Midler, SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE's Jake Gyllenhaal, WAITRESS' Sara Bareilles, Jon Hamm, Lena Dunham and Ansel Elgort.
The following performers will team up for duets:
- Sarah Jessica Parker and Andrea McArdle will join forces to sing "Tomorrow" from ANNIE.
- Emily Blunt and Bernadette Peters - from the film and original Broadway cast of INTO THE WOODS - will come together onstage.
The evening will feature previously announced performers and special appearances by Julia Roberts, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Hugh Jackman, Sarah Jessica Parker, Matthew Broderick, Emily Blunt, Anne Hathaway, Josh Groban, Angela Bassett, Neil Patrick Harris, Helen Mirren, Sienna Miller, Bernadette Peters, Cynthia Erivo, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Rebecca Naomi Jones, Sarah Jones, Andrea McArdle, Ayodele Casel and more.
The event is produced by Jordan Roth and Richie Jackson, Stephen Schwartz and Harvey Weinstein, with musical direction by Seth Rudetsky, script consultant John Guare, and special consultant Diane Paulus. Michael Mayer directs.
