Additional artists have been announced for composer-lyricist Scott Alan's fourth recording, "Live," which follows his critically acclaimed "What I Wanna Be When I Grow Up," "Dreaming Wide Awake" and "Keys." Newly announced for the disc are Wicked's Julia Murney, Ragtime Tony nominee Christiane Noll, Newsies' Ben Fankhauser and Season 3 winners of "The Sing-Off," Pentatonix.

These artists join the previously reported Stephanie J. Block, Sierra Boggess, Liz Callaway, Ann Hampton Callaway, Louise Dearman, Kerry Ellis, Richard Fleeshman, Christopher Jackson, Jeremy Jordan, Mykal Kilgore, Caissie Levy, Jane Monheit, Laura Osnes, Alexander Sage Oyen, Lea Salonga, Melissa van Der Schyff, Willemijn Verkaik, Natalie Weiss and Raena White as well as recording artists Marc Broussard and RJ Helton. A fall release is expected.

A previously unreleased studio recording of one of Alan's compositions, featuring Ramin Karimloo and Hadley Fraser, will be included as a bonus track.

Because the 7 PM concert is already sold out, Birdland has added a 3 PM "Behind the Scenes" concert, which will also serve as a sound check for the performers and the musicians. Due to performance schedules, not all performers will be on hand for the afternoon concert; audiences should also expect retakes and stops during the concert. Tickets are $25 for the 3 PM concert; no drinks or food will be served. There is also no age requirement. Doors will open at 2:30 PM for general seating. To purchase tickets, call (212) 581-3080 or visit http://www.birdlandjazz.com/event/104359.
