Bay City Players Announce Summer Workshops

Bay City Players Announces Summer Workshops- in August, Bay City Players Stages of Discovery will hold a series of workshops focusing on some of the performance and technical aspects of theatre. Students will participate in activities that help to develop skills in theatre as well as in learning to see how science and/or math knowledge applies to theatre craft.
Acting, movement, creative thinking and problem solving, awareness of the world around us, and theatre technology will be explored. The workshops will be geared to four grade levels, and grade-appropriate activities will be conducted by skilled and experienced theatre personnel.
Week One (August 1 - 4)Early Elementary (completed grades 1 - 3)
Later Elementary (completed grades 4 - 5)Week Two (August 8 - 12)
Intermediate (completed grades 6 - 8)
Secondary (completed grades 9 - 12)All sessions will be held at Bay City Players (air-conditioned) Theatre from 10:00 to 3:00, Monday through Thursday. Students must bring their own lunches (refrigerators are available).
The fee for each four-day session is $40 per student. Some partial scholarships may be available.
