'Bat Boy Musical' is Inaugural FUDGE Theatre Production

By:

F.U.D.G.E. Theatre Company announces its inaugural production as resident company of the Factory Theater Bat Boy: The Musical on the 10th Anniversary of its debut. Bat Boy: The Musical opens on Friday, October 19 at 8PM and plays through October 27.

Bat Boy features music and lyrics by Laurence O'Keefe, book Brian Flemming and Keith Farley.  Bat Boy features Trevor Croft, Andrew Darcey, Emma Putnam and Sioux Sanna Ramirez-Cruz.

"Ripped from the headlines of the Weekly World News, Bat Boy (Trevor Croft) is the infamous tabloid creature who was born half boy/half bat.  He has lived a quiet existence in the deep depths of a cave, until three unruly teenagers – the Taylor kids – discover him during a spelunking adventure.  Bat Boy, startled, bites one of the teens and is subsequently brought to the home of Dr. Thomas Parker (Andrew Darcy), the local veterinarian for the town of Hope Falls, West Virginia. It is here that Bat Boy, with the aid of Dr. Parker's wife, Meredith (Sioux Sanna Ramierz-Cruz), and his daughter, Shelley (Emma Putnam), must learn to acclimate himself to the backwards society of Hope Falls…or, at least try. What unravels is a hilarious, campy – and strangely moving – tale of love, acceptance, intolerance, secrets, revenge, cows, blood, and, of course…bats," explain press notes.
