Barbra Streisand Announces New US and Canada Tour Dates

Barbra Streisand today announced upcoming concert dates for October in major cities across the US and Canada. Also announced is that appearing with Streisand will be special guests Chris Botti and Il Volo.

According to the RIAA, Streisand is the #1 best selling female recording artist in history and the only woman to make the Top 10 all time best selling artists list, which includes Elvis Presley and The Beatles.

Over the course of her career, Streisand has recorded 50 gold, 30 platinum and 13 multi-platinum albums, all records for female performers. An artist of unparalleled accomplishments in multiple entertainment fields, Streisand has made her mark as an award winning actress of stage and screen, recording artist, concert performer, movie producer, film director, author and songwriter.

The concert dates are as follows:

Oct. 8: Philadelphia, PA Wells Fargo Center, On Sale Aug. 13, 10 am ET
Oct. 11: Brooklyn, NY Barclays Center, SOLD OUT
Oct. 13: Brooklyn, NY Barclays Center, SOLD OUT
Oct. 17: Montreal, QC Bell Centre, On Sale Aug. 11, 12 pm
Oct. 20: Ottawa, ON Scotiabank Place, On Sale Aug. 13, 10 am ET
Oct. 23: Toronto, ON Air Canada Centre, On Sale Aug. 13, 10 am ET
Oct. 26: Chicago, IL United Center, On Sale Aug. 13, 10 am CT
Oct. 29: Vancouver, BC Rogers Arena, On Sale Aug. 13, 10 am PT

According to Streisand's official website, details will be released soon on where to buy tickets; however, a limited number of tickets will be available before the public on sale date through an exclusive Fan Pre-Sale with the password for the Pre-Sale distributed through the Barbra Streisand Mailing List.
