Banderas, Gaga, Gooding Jr. & More in MACHETE KILLS

The first trailer for Robert Rodriguez's action-packed, shoot 'em up sequel MACHETE KILLS has finally been released and it showcases many featured players in addition to returning lead Danny Trejo - among them, stage/screen stars Antonio Banderas, Cuba Gooding Jr., Lady Gaga and more.

The plot of MACHETE KILLS is as follows: "Danny Trejo returns as ex-Federal agent Machete, who is recruited by the President of the United States (Charlie Sheen) for a mission which would be impossible for any mortal man - he must take down a madman revolutionary and an eccentric billionaire arms dealer (Mel Gibson) who has hatched a plan to spread war across the planet."

In addition to Trejo, Banderas, Gaga and Gooding Jr., MACHETE KILLS also features Michelle Rodriguez, Demian Bichir, Amber Heard, Mel Gibson, Jessica Alba, Sophia Vergara, Alexa Vega and Charlie Sheen.

Banderas famously appeared onstage in the 2003 revival of NINE. Cuba Gooding Jr. can currently be seen on Broadway in THE TRIP TO BOUNTIFUL.

MACHETE KILLS will be released nationwide on September 13.
