By:

The Baltimore Playwrights Festival, www.baltplayfest.com, is accepting submissions of new plays for its 31st Season. Scripts may be submitted through September 30, 2011. Plays must be unproduced and playwrights must be domiciled (or at one time have lived) in Maryland or Washington D.C. Submission guidelines are provided on the BPF website, www.baltplayfest.com.

The Baltimore Playwrights Festival accepts only electronic submissions of plays via its website.

During the last thirty years, The Baltimore Playwrights Festival has presented over 210 productions by 170 playwrights at 20 different theaters. The BPF nurtures the talents of Maryland and DC playwrights through public readings, discussions, critiques and workshopping of new plays. Participating local theaters offer productions of several of the submitted scripts during their summer season. Further information can be found on the BPF website, www.baltplayfest.com.
