BroadwayWorld.com is excited to unveil Episode 2 of its newest ongoing video blog - IN THE PAPERS with Julie Halston. In this series, the hilarious actress and comedienne will talk about all the issues of the day as she goes through the latest celebrities magazines and more! Check out Episode 2 below, which also co-stars the voices of Paddle Henson and James Steele. 

Halston is starring in THE DIVINE SISTER, Off-Broadway's best reviewed new comedy written by and also starring Charles Busch. Tickets for THE DIVINE SISTER are now on sale through Sunday, April 30 at the SoHo Playhouse (15 Vandam Street). 

Julie Halston's credits include: TV: "Sex and The City" as ‘Bitsy Von Muffling,' "The Class" (series regular), "The Electric Company." Broadway: Recent Credits : Hairspray, Gypsy, Twentieth Century,(Outer Critics Nom. Off-Bwy: Love, Loss and What I Wore, White Chocolate (Drama League Nom), Chasing Manet, The Vagina Monologues, numerous others. She is a Founding Member of Charles Busch's theatre company. Also, her one woman comedy show extended four times at Birdland.

The production, directed by Busch's long time collaborator Carl Andress, also features Alison Fraser, Amy Rutberg, Jennifer Van Dyck and Jonathan Walker. With the current new block of tickets, THE DIVINE SISTER will become one of the longest running hits of his Off-Broadway career.

THE DIVINE SISTER is Charles Busch's outrageous comic homage to nearly every Hollywood film involving nuns: The Song of Bernadette, The Bells of St. Mary's, The Singing Nun and Agnes of God. THE DIVINE SISTER tells the story of St. Veronica's indomitable Mother Superior (played by the legendary Charles Busch). Come join this madcap trip through Tinseltown religiosity from the creator of Die Mommie Die, Psycho Beach Party and Vampire Lesbians of Sodom.

The creative team includes: Scenic and Graphic Design by B.T. Whitehill, Costume Design by Fabio Toblini, Lighting Design by Kirk Bookman, Sound Design by Jill BC DuBoff, Wig Design byKatherine Carr, and Original Music by Lewis Flinn.
