The Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival is proud to produce the regional premiere of TREASURE ISLAND, A New Musical for a New Generation. Based on
Robert Louis Stevenson's classic novel, this new musical revolves around a boy, a dream, and an adventure that will change him forever. Making its world premiere in 2013 at Arkansas Repertory Theatre, this new production blends high stakes adventure, wild plot twists, hysterical antics, bold design concepts, and a compelling, evocative score to create a theatrical event that examines the essence of heroism and the triumph of the human spirit. Jumpers). Bringing to life Jim's loving mother, Mary Hawkins, is

Patrick Oliver Jones (National Tours:
Evita, The Addams Family) will play the strict and capable Captain Alexander Smollett and Billy Bones. Canadian actor W. Joseph Matheson (Regional:
The Pirates of Penzance, Luck Be a Lady) will play the black-hearted Israel Hands.
Noah Plomgren (National Tour:
Hair) will play the roles of Dick and Pew. Finally,
Patrick Richwood (TV/Film: "
The Princess Diaries," "
Pretty Women," "
Runaway Bride") will be reprising the roles of Benn Gunn and O'Brien which he originated at the world premiere production in 2013.
The show is directed and choreographed by FLMTF producing artistic director, Brett Smock, with musical direction by Jeff Theiss and fight choreography by DC Wright. The scenic design is by Czerton Lim, costume design by
Tristan Raines, projection design by
Christopher Ash, lighting design by
Dan Ozminkowski and sound design by Ryan Kilcourse.
