The show is an original story that takes place in Vietnam in 1968 and is a love triangle between a beautiful Vietnamese singer, a Korean private, and an American Colonel set against the backdrop of the days leading up to and during the Tet Offensive. The action follows the characters to Seoul, Korea, and the shores of America in San Francisco's Chinatown.
The musical opened on February 1 in Korea to rave reviews and has already extended, reportedly selling 15,000 tickets in three and a half minutes. They next plan to take the show overseas to Japan and Europe and a performance in the US by 2012 has been pinned as their goal.
