BWW TV: First Look at LEAP OF FAITH Performance Preview - Raul Esparza & More!

The Broadway production of LEAP OF FAITH begins previews on Tuesday, April 3 and will open on April 26 at the St. James Theatre. Today, the company treated the press to a performance preview and below, BroadwayWorld brings you a first look at the highlights!

LEAP OF FAITH stars four-time Tony nominee Raúl Esparza and features Jessica Phillips, Kendra Kassebaum, Kecia Lewis-Evans, Leslie Odom, Jr., Krystal Joy Brown and Talon Ackerman.

When his traveling ministry breaks down in a small Kansas town, part-time reverend and full-time con artist Jonas Nightingale (Esparza) quickly pitches a tent and invites the locals to a revival. As he cons the crowds and trades miracles for money, he’ll have to face a woman determined to stop him, a boy who puts his faith to the test, and maybe even his own redemption.

Broadway’s LEAP OF FAITH is based on the motion picture Leap of Faith, produced by Paramount Pictures Corporation and written by Janus Cercone. Directed by Tony Award nominee Christopher Ashley with choreography by Sergio Trujillo, LEAP OF FAITH features music by Academy and Grammy Award-winner Alan Menken, a book by Janus Cercone and Tony Award-winner Warren Leight, and lyrics by Glenn Slater.
