BWW TV Exclusive: Seth's Broadway Chatterbox With Andre De Shields!

After a year and a half hiatus, Seth Rudetsky's famed Seth's Broadway Chatterbox has returned to Don't Tell Mama. Seth's Broadway Chatterbox includes interviews and performances by noted Broadway celebrities and is a raw, funny and insightful interview program that really has no equal.

As in years past, BroadwayWorld has teamed up with Seth to exclusively bring you the full length episodes right here and we're pleased to bring you Seth's latest candid chat with Broadway favorite Andre De Shields. In this edition, De Shields tells stories about THE WIZ's journey to Broadway, starring in Ain't Misbehavin', getting naked for the Queen of England, and more!

In 1975, De Shields was cast in the title role of The Wiz. Additional Broadway credits include Ain't Misbehavin', the Duke Ellington revue Play On!, The Full Monty, and Prymate. He also conceived, wrote, directed, and starred in André De Shields' Haarlem Nocturne. De Shields' regional theatre credits include Play On!, The Full Monty, Waiting For Godot, The Man Who Came to Dinner, Death of a Salesman, and Dusyanta: A Tale of Kalidasa. De Shields' television credits include Another World, Cosby, Sex and the City, Great Performances, and Law & Order. He won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Special Achievement for his performance in the 1982 NBC broadcast of Ain't Misbehavin'.

Seth's Chatterbox takes to the stage Thursday evenings @ 6 PM at Don't Tell Mama (343 West 46th St. in New York City, between 8th & 9th Avenues).
