BWW Polls: When a Show is Revived Do You Think...
Last week's poll asked which show you were most excited to see revived on Broadway in the upcoming season. In our biggest poll yet (still running until midnight tonight!), FOLLIES and GODSPELL are in a close race for the lead!
The debate over the appropriate treatment for revivals is age old. Are reinterpretations of classics perverse? Should all original works only be reproduced in their original form? What makes some updates okay, and others disrespectful?
