It is one of the most famous show of all time.  And, on Sunday, August 7, FOLLIES will return to Broadway starring the beloved talents of Elaine Paige, Bernadette Peters, Jan Maxwell, Danny Burstein and Ron Raines.

The classic score, which features some of Stephen Sondheim's best-known songs, including "Broadway Baby," "I'm Still Here," "Too Many Mornings," "Could I Leave You?" and "Losing My Mind," has received several recordings since the original production premiered on Broadway in 1971.

Last week, we asked what was your favorite recording of FOLLIES from the following choices:


1971 Original Broadway Cast Recording

1985 FOLLIES in Concert

1987 Original London Cast Recording

1998 Paper Mill Playhouse Cast Recording

The winner was the 1971 Original Broadway Cast Recording, with an overwhelming 48% of the vote. Ranking second amongst fans with 29% was the most recent 1998 recording featuring the Paper Mill Playhouse cast.
