Earlier this month, BroadwayWorld brought you a special video of Tony winner Lin-Manuel Miranda and his past IN THE HEIGHTS costar Mandy Gonzalez singing an awesome remix of Jay-Z and Alicia Keys' Gotham anthem, "Empire State of Mind".
This mix of pop music and Broadway talent got us thinking about the fun possibilities that could result from future collaborations between theatre and music stars (or their music), which brings us to last week's poll: 'If Broadway Vets Teamed with Pop Stars, You'd Like to See...' And the winners with 22% were Lady Gaga and Sutton Foster, closely followed by Adele and Cheyenne Jackson with 19%.
Don't forget to participate in our newest BWW Poll, 'NBC Made the SMASH Pilot Available for Download This Week; Did you...' HERE by January 27, 2012 at 11:59pm when the poll closes!
