This Monday, the Computer School brings Broadway to the Upper West Side! The school's annual Night of Stars concert raises money for the Computer School After School Music Program, helping to provide scholarships, keep fees low, and purchase new instruments.

The Computer School is a public middle school on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, dedicated to addressing the individual needs and different learning styles of its 350+ students. While it's true that Computer School students receive regular instruction in basic programming and how to harness technology, they are also exposed to a richly inter-disciplinary curriculum that excites their minds and touches their hearts. And as part of a highly diverse community that hails from many different cultures, races, religions and economic backgrounds, they learn invaluable lessons from each other - as well as from the school's challenging academics.

This year's NIGHT OF STARS lineup includes Brigid Brady (Phantom of the Opera, The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber), Roosevelt Credit (Porgy and Bess, Showboat), Rebecca Holt-Gilmore (How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying), Kimilee Bryant (Phantom of the Opera, Pirate Queen), Giuseppe Bausilio (Billy Elliot, Spring Awakening), Dillon McCartney (A Little Night Muisc, Phantom of the Opera, Kennedy Center), Dee Roscioli (Wicked, Cats), Paula Leggett Chase (Bye Bye Birdie, Kiss Me Kate, A Chorus Line) and Seth Rudetsky, "the mayor of Broadway"(Seth's Big Fat Broadway).

The Night of Stars concert will take place at the Computer School Auditorium, 100 W. 77th Street (between Columbus and Amsterdam). Advanced tickets can be purchased at a discount ($17.50 adults, $7.50 students) HERE.
