My three year old couldn't be more excited: we are going to see Elmo. I'm sorry, did you not hear me? I SAID WE ARE GOING TO SEE ELMO! That's right, from Thursday, Feb. 16 through Sunday, Feb. 26, Elmo and the gang will be visiting Madison Square Garden in their new production, 1-2-3 IMAGINE!.
And this time there's more to do than just sit back and watch the show (or chase your kid around MSG between cotton candy and potty visits). This time, the folks at Sesame Live are bringing an interactive PLAYZONE right to MSG for anyone seeing the show to enjoy one hour before the show. Word on the (Sesame) street is kids will have a chance to sit in Big Bird's nest, pop up in Oscar's trash can, twirl in Zoe's dance studio or (can it be true?) visit Elmo's World.
Recently, the big red guy himself visited the Nicks at center court before their game against the Phoenix Suns. He brought along with him twelve lucky children from the Garden of Dreams, MSG's non-profit charity that makes dreams come true for kids facing obstacles. Following the meet & greet, the kids watched the Knicks take on the Suns where Elmo participated in an in-game contest during half-time and also got to meet celebrities on celeb row!
Tickets to 1-2-3 IMAGINE! Can be purchased at MSG's SESAME STREET LIVE page.
