It's been three years of Lola and she still reigns supreme at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre.

Kinky Boots tells the uplifting and heartwarming tale of Charlie Price, a young man reluctantly taking over his family's struggling business. Charlie meets and finds inspiration in Lola and together, the unlikely pair finds that they have more in common than they ever dreamed possible... and discovers that when you change your mind about someone, you can change your whole world.

In addition to the Broadway and West End productions of Kinky Boots, the show is currently touring the country on its First National Tour, and is playing an extended run in Toronto at the Royal Alexandra Theatre. An Australian production is set to open in October 2016 at Her Majesty's Theatre in Melbourne.

With stars such as Billy Porter and Wayne Brady stepping into Lola's high heels, this this musical was the winner of six 2013 Tony® Awards, including Best Musical. Kinky Boots also features a Tony® Award-winning score by Cyndi Lauper, a book by Tony® Award-winner Harvey Fierstein, direction and choreography by Tony® Award-winner Jerry Mitchell.

To celebrate the company's 3rd anniversary, let's take a look back at this run's most memorable moments, below!

First we take you back to the first official NYC rehearsal for KINKY BOOTS!

Next up, let's see what everyone had to say about the show on opening night.
KINKY BOOTS snagged not one, but six Tonys in 2013. Let's take a look at their performance that night.

When people across the country were demanding to catch a look at this production, producers decided to take KINKY BOOTS on the road. Let's watch the commercial which gives audiences a glimpse of what to expect on the tour.

And who can forget about the cast album? Let's take a look at the music video for "Sex Is in the Heel."

In celebration of 1,000 performances, real life Lola, Billy Porter, judged a fan contest to see who had the "Kinkiest boots" which resulted in fans lining up on the street to strut their stuff.

During this run, we've had to see not one but two Lola's go. Both Billy Porter and Wayne Brady have exited the production in the last three years. Let's watch Billy's last bows and Wayne's first and try not to shed some tears.

And here we are... KINKY BOOTS entering it's fourth year on Broadway. The cast from all of their current productions across the world took time to celebrate this achievement. Check out their message, below!
