Showcasing the digital paintings of our new resident artist, STAGE ART appears every Friday on BroadwayWorld as our love letter to the great talent, costume design and scenery that lights up the stages of the world. The series launched with LYSISTRATA JONES, THE WIZARD OF OZ, the Broadway revival of FOLLIES, THE GERSHWIN'S PORGY AND BESS, CARRIE, JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, ONCE, EVITA, NEWSIES and more.
Direct from a 13-city National Tour, BRING IT ON: THE MUSICAL, opened on Broadway on August 1, 2012 at The St. James Theatre for a 12-week limited engagement through Sunday, October 7, 2012. The production is directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Andy Blankenbuehler.
