BUNKED!: A New Musical, by Bradford Proctor and Alaina Kunin, has been picked up for sponsorship by Logo (the same channel that brings you RuPaul's Drag Race, Buffy, and the upcoming RuPaul's Drag U). BUNKED! will make its world premiere this summer at the New York International Fringe Festival (August 13-29; exact dates TBA).
Set at the idyllic Camp Timberlake, BUNKED! takes place during the pivotal summer after graduating high school. Focusing on five counselors each embarking on their own journeys of self-discovery, BUNKED! gets to the heart of the angst and awkwardness of not knowing where you belong and how to live up to the expectations that are suddenly being thrust upon you. As the end of summer approaches, hearts are broken and mended, life-long friendships are cemented, and decisions are made that will impact the counselors' lives forever.

CREATIVE TEAM:
Alaina Kunin (book and lyrics) earned her Master's in Contemporary Literature at
Newcastle University in England ('07), where her dissertation focused on adolescent literature. She has since been working as a Publicist in academic book publishing at Palgrave Macmillan.
Bradford Proctor (music, book and lyrics) holds a B.A. in Music from Dartmouth College (‘06) and has worked in the music departments of various TV shows, including Saturday Night Live, the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and Logo's NewNowNext Music. He has written songs for "The Gay Ivy" and various cabarets in NYC. His vocal arrangements have been featured on "Voices Only" and he has played piano for A Chorus Line (Broadway).
Seth Sikes (Director) Assistant Director of Sondheim: The Birthday Concert with the New York Philharmonic (Lonny Price, director), Anyone Can Whistle at Encores! (Casey Nicholaw, director), and Genius Famous at NYC Fringe. Production Assistant on Young Frankenstein, and Minsky's. Performing credits include Fame on 42nd Street Off-Broadway. Currently assisting Lonny Price on Dissonance at Bay Street Theatre.
Benton Whitley (Casting Director) is the Associate Casting Director for Southgate Productions and also serves as the Associate Casting Director for National Artists Management Company, where along side Duncan Stewart he casts the current Broadway revival of La Cage Aux Folles (starring Kelsey Grammer) and the Broadway, West End, and International Tours of Chicago The Musical. Previously he helped cast Terrence McNally's world premiere of Golden Age at The John F. Kennedy Center, and the 2009 Broadway revival of Ragtime. Benton is a proud graduate of North Carolina School of the Arts and the University of Michigan Musical Theatre department.
