On July 10, Broadway Beyond Productions, the producers who brought you BROADWAY AT THE W, will debut a new series in New York at the W in Times Square.

BROADWAY AT THE W, a musical revue show in Hollywood, California that takes place on the rooftop of the W Hollywood has had two sold-out shows two years in a row, most recently in June 2016. The producing team also produces a series called Broadway Unplugged, downstairs in the Living Room of W Hollywood, which features casts from the touring productions at the Pantages Theatre.

Now they are launching a similar series, BROADWAY AT THE W TIMES SQUARE, featuring casts of popular Broadway shows as well as special guest performances by Broadway, Tv, and Film stars in the upscale acoustic environment of the hotel's Living Room.

This new bi-weekly series will be hosted by Daniel J. Watts of the fan-favorite, smash-hit Tony Award-winning musical "Hamilton" and feature a new Broadway cast every other week. On Sunday, July 10, Special guests two-time Tony nominated actor Brandon Victor Dixon (Shuffle Along), The Skivvies, and Laura Dreyfuss (Dear Evan Hansen) will make appearances alongside cast members Eric Anderson, Stephanie Thorn, Aisha Jackson, and Charity Angel Dawson from the Broadway hit musical, "Waitress."

BROADWAY AT THE W was derived from producer/actress Mekia Cox's (Secrets & Lies), and the team's desire to bring the magic of the stage out to the west coast. "This is the dream for the Broadway At The W brand, to get to New York," said producer Victor Hawks. "What the show has become has been beyond our imagination." With two successful main stage shows at W Hollywood, The Unplugged Brand a constant fixture at the W Living Room in LA, and now the New York series at W Times Square - running simultaneously on both coasts. "And now this show and our brand of entertainment is growing in all different ways and in different incarnations," explains Cox.

"Coming from the Broadway hub of New York City we started out wanting to bring more musical theatre to LA." said producers and Broadway married couple Mike and Tiffany Evariste, who's list of Broadway credits include 10 Broadway shows. "After seeing the LA audiences respond like they have, we asked ourselves, how else can we grow? We pitched the idea to the W Times Square and we're so grateful they said yes. We're excited to bring this growing brand to the mecca of Broadway - New York City."

But this series isn't only about musical performances. It speaks through poetry, spoken word, original content; many forms of the Broadway expression, and "it is coming to you live," stresses Daniel J. Watts of Broadway's record-breaking success, "Hamilton." He adds, "We take in so much of our content on the internet, and it is impersonal and detached in a lot of ways, I think it is important to keep live performance alive because it forces us to deal with our humanity on an intimate and personal level."

"Through what I call 'Watts Words' my mission is to help audiences focus on their social similarities as opposed to their differences, and in the unique way Broadway at the W bridges this message with music, it allows me to bring this message to wherever we are in an innovative and important way."

"We have been very lucky to have this relationship with the W in Hollywood, and W Times Square, they have provided a perfect launching pad to create BROADWAY AT THE W," adds Producer Victor Hawks. He continues, "And we named our company BROADWAY BEYOND because in our heads we wanna take this show to every W across the country, and every other venue that needs a little Broadway. Hey, dare to dream right, but I think theatre kids can do anything, so that is exactly what we are gonna try."

The BROADWAY AT THE W show on July 10th at W Times Square is produced by Mekia Cox ("Secrets and Lies," JJ Abrams "Undercovers," Michael Jackson's "This Is It"), and Detra Hicks ("Once Familiar") for Little Man Productions; Tiffany Evariste ("Motown the Musical," "Mary Poppins," Tony Award-winning "Memphis"), and Tony-nominated producer and actor Mike Evariste (Tony Award-winning "Book of Mormon," Tony Award nominated play "Disgraced," Tony Award-winning "South Pacific," Tony Award-winning "Hair"); Victor Hawks (Tony Award-winning "Urinetown," Tony Award-winning "South Pacific," "LES MISERABLES") and Malcolm Goodwin (CW's "iZombie") for Vision Vehicle Productions; Vivian Nixon (Tony Award-winning "Memphis," "Grey's Anatomy,"), Associate Artistic Director of Debbie Allen Dance Academy; and Daniel J. Watts (HBO's "Vinyl," Tony Award-winning "Hamilton," "After Midnight").

The producers have performed in over 30 Broadway and National Touring shows; including 12 Tony Award-winning, and 18 Tony Award-nominated Broadway shows.
