Producers of the new Broadway musical Finding Neverland, announced today plans for a U.S. tour launching in Upstate New York on October 7, 2016 in association with Albert Nocciolino, President and CEO of NAC Entertainment. By kicking-off in this region of New York, the production will utilize the Upstate NY Theatrical Tax Incentive, recently passed by Governor Andrew Cuomo. The producers of Finding Neverland, directed by Tony Award®-winner Diane Paulus (Pippin, Hair),have enlisted The Booking Group's Meredith Blair to book the tour.

Based on the Academy Award® winning Miramax motion picture by the same name, Finding Neverlandfollows playwright J.M. Barrie as he summons the courage to become the writer - and the man - he yearns to be. Barrie finds the inspiration he's been missing when he meets the beautiful widow Sylvia and her four young sons: Jack, George, Michael and Peter. Delighted by the boys' hilarious escapades, Barrie conjures the magical world of Neverland and writes a play unlike any the high-society London theatergoers have ever seen. It's a tremendous risk, but as Barrie himself has discovered - when you believe, you can fly. Finding Neverland has a score by Gary Barlow (Take That) and Grammy® winner Eliot Kennedy, book by Olivier Award nominee James Graham, and choreography by Emmy Award®-winner Mia Michaels ("So You Think You Can Dance," Cirque du Soleil's Delirium).

Albert Nocciolino, President and CEO NAC Entertainment, the preeminent presenter of Broadway tours in Upstate New York where the Finding Neverland tour will kick-off, said today, "We are very excited to be able to launch the tour of Finding Neverland in Upstate New York where annually thousands of patrons enjoy experiencing Broadway right in their own back-yard. The excitement and economic impact of the show being in one of our communities for 4-5 weeks, teching and rehearsing, will be a huge benefit for all."

Broadway Across America's CEO John Gore added, "After seeing Finding Neverland on Broadway, I was immediately 'hooked,' and know that our audiences across the country will be, too. We look forward to bringing this inspirational story of love and wonder to all of our North American cities."

"Finding Neverland is an enchanting musical for people of all ages and backgrounds everywhere. We're thrilled to share the show with audiences all over the United States," said director Diane Paulus.

Upon choosing Upstate New York for the launch of the Finding Neverland tour, one of the show's executive producers, Victoria Parker, said, "After carefully evaluating several cities and venues around the country we are delighted to have chosen Upstate NY to open our National Tour. Governor Cuomo and the legislature have proven their commitment to spurring investment in the state so we are delighted to be one of the first to commit to participating in a new program - the Upstate New York Theatrical Tax Incentive - aimed at doing just that."

Finding Neverland opened at Broadway's Lunt-Fontanne Theatre (205 West 46th Street) on April 15, 2015. Tickets can be arranged online at www.FindingNeverlandTheMusical.com, by calling Ticketmaster at (877) 250-2929 or in person at the Lunt-Fontanne box office, located at 205 West 46th Street, between Broadway and 8th Avenue.
