BEACH BLANKET BABYLON Anniversary Performance Extends, Adds New Musical Number & Video Tribute

Due to overwhelming demand, Producer Jo Schuman Silver announced today that Steve Silver's Beach Blanket Babylon, the world's longest running musical revue, will extend its special 35th Anniversary performances. The 90-minute Anniversary show, originally scheduled to end on Sunday, July 12, includes a new quintessential Beach Blanket Babylon musical number as well as a special video tribute to the show's creator, Steve Silver. Tickets for these special performances range in price from $25 - 80 and are available by phone at 415-421-4222, online at beachblanketbabylon.com or at the Beach Blanket Babylon Box Office (678 Green Street, San Francisco).

"Our original plan was to only hold 35 special performances in honor of our 35th Anniversary," said Schuman Silver. "However, because of the incredible response we have received from our fans throughout the Bay Area, we have decided to extend them until our holiday show begins in November."

Beach Blanket Babylon's performance schedule is as follows: Wednesdays & Thursdays at 8 p.m., Fridays at 6:30 p.m., Saturdays at 6:30 & 9:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2 & 5 p.m.

Snow White continues her fast-paced musical journey around the world in search of her "Prince Charming" and encounters a star-studded, ever-changing line-up of hilarious pop-culture characters along the way, including President Barack & Michelle Obama, Beyoncé, Governor Sarah Palin, Britney Spears, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton (and her husband Bill), Oprah Winfrey, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, the Jonas Brothers, Cher and Chaz (Chastity) Bono and King Tut.
