Award Winning 'Doubt' At Florida Rep
"What do you do when you're unsure?" That is the question Doubt asks, and the answer unfolds as a dark and thrilling battle of wills set in a 1964 Catholic school. When Sister Aloysius suspects the progressive, young Father Flynn of wrongdoing, she must decide how best to confront him. Hers is a quest for truth at any cost, and illustrates the awesome power of doubt. "From the moment I saw it in New York, I knew we had to produce it at Florida Rep, says Producing Artistic Director, Robert Cacioppo. Much like last season's Rabbit Hole, the 2007 Pulitzer Prize winning Best Play, which shocked and challenged audiences, Doubt will take them on a mesmerizing journey inside themselves.""This play asks some very difficult questions, and raises some very controversial issues, but it doesn't answer those questions or take a stand on the issues," Cacioppo continued. "The playwright leaves that up to you and that is his brilliance." FALL IN LOVE TODAY! ADOPT A PET FROM YOUR LOCAL ANIMAL SHELTER |
