Tracy Letts' AUGUST: OSAGE COUNTY, winner of the 2008 Pulitzer Prize, Drama Desk, New York Drama Critics Circle, and Outer Critics Circle Awards for Best Play, is proud to welcome Tony Award winner Frank Wood to the Broadway company in the role of "Bill Fordham" on Tuesday, June 17th.

Frank Wood won Tony & Drama League Awards for Sideman (also West End/Australia). His film credits include: Dan in Real Life; Thirteen Days; Michael Clayton. Upcoming: Changeling; The Taking of Pelham 123; The Missing Person. TV: "Flight of the Conchords"; "Medium"; "The Sopranos"; "Law and Order" He is proud to have appeared at over 20 off-broadway and regional theaters, including the Atlantic Theatre Company; Minetta Lane; Playwrights Horizons; the Goodman Theatre; ACT; The Williamstown Theatre Festival; The McCarter Theatre; Arena Stage; and ART. Education: BA, Wesleyan University; MFA, NYU Graduate Acting Program.  

Directed by Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Award Winner Anna D. Shapiro, August: Osage County is the explosively funny comedy-drama focusing on the Weston family following the disappearance of the family's patriarch.

Voted #1 play of the year by Time, The Associated Press, Entertainment Weekly, and TimeOut New York, Charles Isherwood of The New York Times has called August: Osage County "The most exciting new American play Broadway has seen in years."
