Auditions For Theater Works 2011 / 2012 Master Works Season Held 6/18

Theater Works is excited to announce their upcoming 2011 / 2012 Master Works Season auditions. The Master Works season consists of the following shows: Romeo and Juliet, The King and I, A Christmas Carol, The Dixie Swim Club, A Little Night Music and All Through the Night. Theater Works will be offering two Special Appearance Equity contracts per show. The rest of the cast will be non-union. Auditions for children in The King and I and A Christmas Carol will be held at a later date. Master Works auditions will be held on June 18th with Non-musical auditions from 10:00a.m. - 2:00 p.m. and Musical Auditions 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. and on June 19th with Musical Auditions from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. and Non-musical auditions from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. Appointments are required.

For Musical auditions you should prepare 16 bars of an up-tempo song; 16 bars of a ballad and 1 ½ minute monologue. For Non- Musical (straight play) auditions you should prepare 2 contrasting monologues, no more than 1 ½ minutes each. Romeo and Juliet: Rehearsals begin June 30th.
Running August 19- September 4, 2011.
King and I: Rehearsals begin August 15, 2011.
Running Sept. 23- October 16, 2011.
A Christmas Carol: Rehearsals begin Oct 20, 2011.
Running Dec 2- December 18, 2011.
The Dixie Swim Club: Rehearsals begin Dec. 27, 2011.
Running Jan. 20- Feb. 19, 2012.
A Little Night Music: Rehearsals begin Feb. 2, 2012.
Running March 16- April 7, 2012.
All Through the Night: Rehearsals begin Mar. 12, 2012.
Running Apr. 13- May 13, 2012.
