Auction of 1000 Stars Offers Exclusive 'Gypsy' & 'Rent' Experiences

"Auction of 1000 Stars" kicks off 2008 with a handful of exclusive celebrity experiences including a chance to attend the opening night cast party of the revival of Gypsy starring Patti LuPone, a walk-on role in the Broadway classic Rent, Access Hollywood's "Stuff You Must" celebrity gift bag, and VIP tickets to both "The Daily Show" with Jon Stewart and "The Colbert Report."

The charity auction runs February 18 – 28, online at www.auctionof1000stars.org.  Proceeds from the auction benefit The Actors Fund, a national organization that helps everyone in the entertainment industry whenever they need it.

The Actors Fund is currently seeing a big surge in the demand for their services due to the writer's strike and, to date, has distributed over $350,000 to help prevent evictions and car repossessions, assist with medical care and to provide help with daily living expenses for those affected by the strike.
