Artist Andrea Hirschon to Open New Exhibit at Cafe Manhattan

Cafe Manhattan, Green Point will be the home of a new art exhibit by Andrea Hirschson (B.A. Visual Arts, Dip. Photograhy).

Andi is an accomplished artist, photographer, makeup artist, audio visual producer and writer. She has exhibited and sold her art and photography in South Africa, UK, USA and Australia and has lectured at tertiary level in art, photography as well as film and TV makeup at various colleges in South Africa and Australia.

Andi has received a medal for History of Art at UCT, and she was the first South African to exhibit her photography at the Lincoln Centre in New York, and at Womanart Gallery in New York.
She has had solo photographic exhibitions at the South African Association of Arts Cape Town and at the Market Theatre in Johannesburg.

Her art, photography and poetry have also been published in various magazines and books.
Andi has practiced as an artist since 1998 and runs her own art school in Cape Town where she teaches painting.
