Anthony Rapp Presents 'Without You' Concert at Ars Nova 12/17
Ars Nova proudly presents Tony nominee Anthony Rapp's rock n' roll memoir "Without You: An Evening of Love, Loss and the Musical Rent" for one-night-only on Monday, December 17. Rapp will give two performances of his new show at 7 PM and 10 PM along with his band Albinokid. Although his movie-credits include A Beautiful Mind, Dazed and Confused, and Six Degrees of Separation, Anthony Rapp is best known for creating the role of Mark Cohen in Jonathan Larson's landmark musical Rent. Rapp returns to the stage with his band Albinokid in this new rock n' roll memoir, freely based on his best selling book "Without You: A Memoir of Love, Loss, and the Musical Rent." This exciting stage show highlights Rapp's matchless talent through music from Rent, Hedwig and The Angry Inch, REM, Radiohead, and original songs from his album, "Look Around."
Anthony Rapp's other Broadway credits include You're A Good Man Charlie Brown and Six Degrees Of Separation. He earned a Drama Desk award and Tony nomination for his portrayal of Mark Cohen in the Broadway musical Rent.
