Anthony Rapp, Christine Ebersole, et al. Set for GLAAD Amplifier Awards

Over 400 leaders in the advertising and market industries will join GLAAD for the 2011 Amplifier Awards to honor the best in lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) inclusive advertising. The silent auction/cocktail reception, Awards presentation and after party are presented by Omnicom Group and in part by DRAFTFCB and ROKK Vodka. The event will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. at The Altman Building in New York City.

Special guests will include: Sonja Morgan (Real Housewives of NYC), Tabatha Coffey (Tabatha's Salon Takeover), actor Wilson Cruz (My So Called Life, He's Just Not That Into You), singer Frenchie Davis (The Voice, American Idol), TONY award-winning actress Christine Ebersole, actor Anthony Rapp (RENT), Josh Kilmer-Purcell & Brent Ridge (Fabulous Beekman Boys), Manila Luzon (RuPaul's Drag Race), Speaker Christine Quinn, MSNBC's Thomas Roberts, and special honorees Bob Witeck & Wes Combs.

Award recipients include: American Airlines, Allstate, GE, GMHC, Google, Met Life, ROKK and Wells Fargo. Allstate will receive the Corporate Responsibility Award, and Bob Witeck & Wesley Combs will receive the Public Visibility Award.
