This fall, beloved Broadway internet personality, Annoying Actor Friend is releasing its second book, "#GRATEFUL: Everything Happens for a Reason." Described as a "Create Your Own Show Business Destiny" book, it hits shelves and Amazon Kindles on November 30th, 2015.

ABOUT #GRATEFUL: Everything Happens for a Reason

In this satirical create your own show business destiny sequel to #SOBLESSED: the Annoying Actor Friend's Guide to Werking in Show Business, the reader is placed smack in the middle of the Broadway industry, and in control of his or her own fate. With over a hundred different choices and endings, the reader's potential trajectories are endless. Each person will have an utterly unique experience every time they open the book.

"What if you went to the chorus call that you bailed on because it was cold as balls outside? What if you booked that role that went to the person it usually goes to? What if you took a Ricola before that callback instead of a shot of Jameson? What if you killed someone? Show business is full of infinite possibilities, and only in #GRATEFUL will you have the opportunity to see every single alternative. So, like, this book is basically Laura Osnes' cabaret The Paths Not Taken, having sex with a cracked out If/Then, while listening to Serial."

#SOBLESSED REVIEWS:

"Passionately dedicated to the theatre, doling out genuine wisdom and information with nearly every wisecrack. [An] irreverent supplement to more staid but perhaps equally inspiring books in theatre." - The Huffington Post, (Howard Sherman, former Executive Director of the American Theatre Wing)

"Unlike other parodies, the tone of #SOBLESSED isn't angry or trollful. Rather, the author is like your older sister giving you brutally honest and humorous details about life in New York theater. She's also a trusted person who clues you in to a few clever shortcuts along the path. Although only a few people know the real identity behind Annoying Actor Friend, the person behind the pseudonym clearly knows the Broadway theater industry." - The Clyde Fitch Report, (Laura Axelrod)

"Smart, sarcastic and utterly true guide to navigating theater." - Backstage Magazine (Briana Rodriguez)

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

In 2012, anonymous parody Internet personality Annoying Actor Friend (@Actor_Friend) rose to notoriety on Twitter by spoofing the social media behavior of actors. It soon spun-off into a blog, where it did everything from recapping NBC's Smash, to constructing drinking games for awards shows such as the Tonys, and even becoming an empowering voice that inspired actors to evoke change within the stage union, Actors' Equity Association as well as ignite the viral movement #Dim4Joan that motivated the Broadway League to reverse their decision not to dim the lights of Broadway in memory of Joan Rivers.

Backstage Magazine recently placed @Actor_Friend on its Future Broadway Power List alongside Tony nominated director, Alex Timbers. #SOBLESSED Live! (a concert in the theme of the book) has played three sold out engagements at Feinstein's/54. With over 20,000 followers on Twitter, @Actor_Friend has become a leading satirical voice on Broadway.
