‘Amelia Earhart Jungle Princess’ Makes its World Premiere
The New Colony’s Inaugural Production from Award-Winning Creative Team
The New Colony, Chicago’s new theater company dedicated entirely to World Premieres, will start its inaugural season with Amelia Earhart Jungle Princess, the next project from the award-winning creative team of James Asmus and Andrew Hobgood. Written by Asmus and directed by Hobgood, Amelia Earhart Jungle Princess is, “an escapist adventure fantasy, with a thoughtful underbelly,” says Asmus.
Amelia Earhart Jungle Princess will have previews September 26th & 27th at 8:00PM and will officially open on Monday September 29th at 8:00PM. The Press Opening will be Thursday October 2nd at 8:00PM. The show will run Thursdays through Saturdays at 8:00PM and Sundays at 7:00PM at The National Pastime Theater at 4139 N Broadway St. Closes November 2nd.
Show Passes are $28 and $15 for Preview Passes. Industry/Student Show Passes are $15 and $8 for Preview Passes. Passes go on sale September 15th at www.thenewcolony.org or by calling 800.838.3006. All Passes to New Colony productions allow the purchaser to see the show for which the Pass was purchased an unlimited number of times.
