The All Stars Project, the American pioneer for development and developmental learning, is hosting UX Opening Day to kick off its 2011 spring semester, on Monday, January 17 at 11:00 am at the All Stars Project headquarters, 543 West 42nd Street (between 10th & 11th Avenue).  UX is a unique development institution, free of cost, forward-thinking and open to people of all ages and backgrounds who want to grow and develop.  Opening Day will coincide with the All Stars Annual DR. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration.

"You can't learn without development" says Lenora Fulani, Ph.D., Dean of UX.  Dean Fulani has trained a team of development coaches who help people step outside of their comfort zone to have an experience of New York and the world that they've never had before.UX incorporates all the ongoing programs and activities of the All Stars Project, as well as numerous workshops, classes and lectures by guest artists, business professionals, community and educational leaders and visits to the "inner workings" of New York life - from Broadway to Wall Street, from business to the arts and government.

UX Opening Day will include the All Stars Annual DR. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration where youth leaders of the All Stars will present a show they've created in honor of DR. Martin Luther King, Jr.   Other festivities during the day will include improvisational workshops, development coaching sessions, information about all UX activities and more!
