As announced this week, the full cast of Bay Street Theater & Dreamworks Theatricals' upcoming concert reading of the musical adaptation of THE PRINCE OF EGYPT, featuring book by Philip LaZebnik (Mulan, Pocahontas), and music & lyrics by Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Pippin, Godspell, The Hunchback of Notre Dame), has officially been revealed.
Joining Norm Lewis and Aaron Lazar for the concert as part of Bay Street's 24th Annual Summer Gala on July 11 are Patina Miller and Matthew James Thomas, reuniting for the first time since they took over Broadway in the Tony-winning revival of PIPPIN, as Tzipporah and Moses, respectively. The starry cast also features Stephen Bogardus as Seti, Julia Murney as Queen Tuya, Kyle Barisich as Aaron, John Treacy Egan as Hoy, Ryan Knowles as Hotep, Joanna Howard as Nefertari, Julia Motyka as Miriam, and Anna Schiavoni as Young Miriam.

Along with the thrilling principal cast there will be a large chorus of local performers led by Choir Master Greg Wilson. Based on the Dreamworks film, which debuted in 1998, THE PRINCE OF EGYPT tells the classic tale of Moses' life -- from his beginnings as an Egyptian prince to discovering his God-given task of guiding the enslaved children of Israel to the promised land.
