All Gone Theatre Company will present ECHOES, a play by N. Richard Nash.  ECHOES is produced by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc.

ECHOES is about a young man and woman who build a paradise of happiness within an asylum, only to have it shattered by the intrusion of the outside world. The two characters search, at times agonizingly, to determine the difference between illusion and reality.  The theme of love, vulnerable to the surveillances of The Place and the ministrations of The Person, seems as fragile in the constrained setting as it often is in the outside world.

ECHOES will run for 6 performances as a guest production at TheaterLab – Studio A, 137 West 14th Street, New York, NY 10011.  It will premiere on Tuesday, February 14th, 2012 at 8pm.  Subsequent performances will be as follows: February 15th at 8pm, February 16th at 8pm, February 17th at 8pm, February 18th at 2pm, and February 18th at 8pm.  Running time is 90 minutes with no intermission.  Tickets are $20 and may be purchased from www.allgonetheatre.org or at the door.

The production will be directed by Natalie Glick.  The cast includes Cassandra Seale as Tilda, Russell Boyle as Sam, and Joseph Boover as The Person.

All Gone Theatre Company is devoted to embracing the enigmatic persistence of absence.  Theatre is by nature an ephemeral art—it is gone for longer than it is happening.  As such, it is our mission to explore the ways in which surveillance enables this absence to endure.
