Alex Brightman, Andrew Kober Set For CRAZYTOWN PRESENTS At Joe's Pub
Joe's Pub will be home to Crazytown Presents, November 14th at 9:30 pm, an evening of musical theatre, monologues, stand-up comedy, performance art and more from the writers of Crazytown Blog, an "artist's asylum," interpreted and performed by some of the funniest actors from the worlds of Broadway and Improv.
Among those set to appear at the one-night only event are:
Alex Brightman (Wicked), Jason Michael Snow ( The Book of Mormon), Lauren Conlin Adams (Upright Citizens Brigade), Andrew Kober (Hair), Oscar Montoya (The Pit), Carly Sakolove (Girls Night) and Sam Tedaldi (Spidermusical).
Crazytown Blog, brings together nearly two dozen artists from around the country, writing on a variety of topics from musical theatre, viral videos, writing craft, Whitney Houston, gay and lesbian issues, hot topics, art and business, drunk cooking, monkeys, television and the insanity of trying to make life as an artist work. Created in January 2010 by Editor-in-Chief Ryan Scott Oliver, the blog is a staple for the metropolitan creative mind.
The writing crew consists of musical theatre writers Oliver, Brett Ryback, Tony Asaro, Gena Oppenheim, Kirsten Guenther, Greg Jacobs-Roseman and Shoshana Greenberg; producer Ryan Bogner; photographer Matthew Murphy; music director/composer Steven Jamail; actorsKevin Michael Murphy, Geoffrey Kidwell, and Jenny Donoghue; stand-up comedienne Leah Bonnema; playwrights Pam Quinn and Kimberly Lew; guru of multi-hyphenate media Loren Roberts; book publisher Melissa Presti; and corporate lackey Bob Simpson.
Crazytown presents is produced by regular blog contributors Ryan Bogner, Kevin Michael Murphy and Ryan Scott Oliver.
