Adelaide Festival Centre Presents Their 2010 Season

Home of festivals, Adelaide Festival Centre is pleased to announce its year-long festival for 2010. With a mix of Australian and international entertainment, Adelaide Festival Centre will present an eclectic program of theatre, dance, music, visual arts and exhibitions, along with its three festivals, Adelaide Cabaret Festival, OzAsia Festival and Adelaide International Guitar Festival.
As Australia's first multi-purpose arts centre, the Adelaide Festival Centre continues to champion diversity and accessibility in the arts by presenting both mainstream and cutting edge work from a broad range of companies and artists, dedicated to ensuring audiences have the opportunity to experience some of the best works from around Australia and the globe.To kick start the year Avenue Q and Cats will be making a visit to Adelaide in January, then from February onwards there is a plethora of shows for all tastes and budgets, with five world premieres throughout the year and works from the Festival Centre's theatre, dance and music streams. These include brand new seasons of CentreStage (the best works from stages around the world), Pivot(al) (world's best dance), trans:mission (universal beats, rhythms and grooves), Australian Stories (multi-genre program about the Australian way of life) and the unique inSPACE program, which will be presenting a record seven shows in 2010, along with inSPACE Development, where audiences can get the scoop on a show from its Early Stages of rehearsal.
