Former 'American Idol' finalist and new 'Hair' tribe member Ace Young tells People.com that he doesn't have any reservations about performing in the classic nude scene of the Broadway hit. Young tells People that the show's nudity is "so freeing" and adds that he is quite comfortable in his own skin. "If I could walk down 42nd Street with a bar of soap and let the rain clean me, I would," he says. "I'm comfortable with my body."

Of the diet regime he maintains for the show, Young says he is not mindful of what he eats. He tells People, "I can really eat anything because the show is such a workout," he says of the pastrami sandwiches, burgers and two gallons of water he's been putting down each day. "I've even dipped back into eating Funyuns and Doritos".

HAIR on Broadway plays the Al Hirschfeld Theatre, and is presented in New York by The Public Theater (Oskar Eustis, Artistic Director; Andrew D. Hamingson, Executive Director) Jeffrey Richards, Jerry Frankel, Gary Goddard Entertainment, Kathleen K. Johnson, Nederlander Presentations, Inc., Fran Kirmser Productions/Jed Bernstein, Marc Frankel, Broadway Across America, Barbara Manocherian/WenCarLar Productions, JK Productions/Terry Schnuck, Andy Sandberg, Jam Theatricals, The Weinstein Company / Norton Herrick, Jujamcyn Theaters, Joey Parnes and by special arrangement with Elizabeth Ireland McCann.

Tickets for HAIR (starting at $37.00) are available via Telecharge.com or by calling (212) 239-6200. The schedule is as follows: Tuesday at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday at 2:00 & 8:00 p.m., Thursday - Friday at 8:00 p.m., Saturday at 2:00 & 8:00 p.m. and Sunday at 3:00. HAIR also offers a pre-performance ticket lottery for box-seat tickets, aptly renamed "BE-IN BOXES." Those wishing to purchase these tickets are asked to show up at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre 2 1/2 hours before each performance for a drawing that will take place 2 hours before curtain. For every performance, a limited number of lucky audience members will receive $25 "be-in box" tickets, promising to make their experience of the show both affordable and unique. Limit one entry per person, and two tickets per entry. Winners must be present at the time of the drawing and show valid ID to purchase tickets. Tickets can be purchased from the box office in cash only.

As previously announced, HAIR will open at the Gielgud Theatre in London's West End with the original Broadway cast, with previews beginning on Thursday, April 1, 2010 and an opening night set for Wednesday, April 14th. Led by Director Diane Paulus, the complete creative team will reunite for the London production.
