Founded in 1992 by casting agent Rosalie Joseph and producer Tom Fontana, Stockings With Care has brought the joy of Christmas to New York City's underserved and underprivileged children by granting Christmas wishes to over 50,000 children. SWC works with various agencies that help families in crisis. The mission of SWC is to provide the magic of Christmas to children while preserving the dignity of families and honoring each child's individuality. That mission continues today thanks to the hard work of an all-volunteer grass roots organization.
