Aaron Sorkin to Adapt Michael Lewis' FLASH BOYS

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sony has signed Aaron Sorkin to adapt the New York Times Bestseller by Michael Lewis titled Flash Boys. This will be the second project that Sorkin worked on with Sony. He also wrote the screenplay for Moneyball, which was released in 2011.

Scott Rudin and Eli Bush are producing the film.

Flash Boys is a non-fiction novel which follows the lives of several men on Wall Street. It details how a few stock market insiders are making billions in high-frequency trading by rigging the system.

Aaron Sorkin is a screen writer who tends to lean towards political and historical works. He credits include The West Wing (1999-2006), Charlie Wilson's War (2007), The Social Network (2010), and The Newsroom (2014).

Michael Lewis is an American non-fiction author and financial journalist. His bestselling books include The Big Short: Inside the Doomsday Machine, Liar's Poker, The New New Thing, Moneyball: The Art of Winning an Unfair Game, The Blind Side: Evolution of a Game, Panic, Home Game: An Accidental Guide to Fatherhood and Boomerang.
