A mother's promise to her children is about food, shelter, health, education, love and security. Despite all the good intentions of the world leaders who met in Cairo in 1995, to agree on a plan to improve the conditions for more than a billion of the world's weakest citizens, the situation has gone from bad to worse. Serena Cruz is the international coordinator of a program that will change this tragic development, and she will outline how everyone can get involved.
The best intentions of world leaders have not prevented the conditions
for more than a billion men, women and children from deteriorating. This
program outlines a campaign to improve the lives of these
vulnerable citizens around the world.Complimentary refreshments served at 7:00 PM
Events begin at 7:30PM
Admission fee is $10, cash or check.http://www.cultureinthecity.org
