6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., VIP pre-reception / silent auction

ART PROJECT LOS ANGELES, created by Hamilton-Selway Fine Art Gallery and benefiting AIDS Project Los Angeles (APLA), is a premier, red-carpet art auction and artists reception featuring works by Basquiat, Haring, Hockney, Longo, Picasso, Ruscha, Warhol, along with a range of local artists, sculptors, photographers, home furnishers and more. Among the most exclusive items for auction is a never-before-seen limited edition Richard Mille watch. Valued at $90,000, this RM 011 Ti "Americas BLACK" is the first watch produced in a 50-piece edition, and it is being donated by Westime. Beginning in September, the Richard Mille boutique in Beverly Hills will be the exclusive retailer for the RM 011 "Americas BLACK" edition. All works, including the watch, will be available for bid during both silent and live auctions. Art Project Los Angeles is presented by Westime and Richard Mille.

The event's star-studded Entertainment Support Committee, co-chaired by Jackie Collins and Barry Krost, includes Chad Allen, Pamela Anderson, Stockard Channing, Joan Collins, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Jenifer Lewis, Mario Lopez, Shirley MacLaine, Debra Messing, Olivia Newton-John, John Lloyd Young, Allee Willis and more.

The event will be hosted at world-renowned auction house Bonhams & Butterfields on the Sunset Strip. Proceeds benefit programs and services of APLA, which brings HIV/AIDS care, prevention and advocacy to many thousands in one of the hardest-hit communities in the U.S. Over 63,000 Angelenos are now living with HIV/AIDS -- more than ever before.
