ANYTHING GOES' Erich Bergen to Play the RRazz Room, 1/28

By:

Erich Bergen, currently starring as Billy Crocker in the national tour of Anything Goes, is set to bring his one-night-only concert to San Francisco's premiere nightclub, Live At The RRazz, on Monday, January 28 at 8pm. Anything Goes is currently playing at the Golden Gate Theatre through February 3. Of Bergen's performance, Rob Hurwitt in The San Francisco Chronicle, said, " ... the hopeless romantic Billy Crocker [is] embodied by the wonderful Erich Bergen with leading man charisma, fine song-and-dance chops, and comic versatility."

Erich Bergen is perhaps best known for his critically acclaimed performance as Four Seasons member Bob Gaudio in the first national tour and Las Vegas companies of the Broadway smash Jersey Boys. Other stage work includes A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum for Reprise Theatre Company, Venice for Center Theatre Group at the Kirk Douglas Theatre, and A Snow White Christmas for Lythgoe Family Productions. Bergen's television credits include Gossip Girl, Desperate Housewives, Person of Interest, and Franklin & Bash. He will make his feature film debut starring opposite Erika Christensen, Joe Piscopo, and Paul Sorvino in How Sweet It Is, scheduled for a 2013 release. Last summer, he played the title role in Hero, a world premiere musical at the Marriott Theatre in Lincolnshire, Illinois. Bergen is also an accomplished songwriter and recording artist. His debut CD, The Vegas Sessions, is available on iTunes and at Amazon.com.

Of Bergen's nightclub concert, BroadwayWorld.com said, "Taking the stage with the gusto akin to a tornado or blazing brushfire, this young dynamo captivated the packed house from the moment he opened his mouth." Added BlogCritics.org, "Erich Bergen is one hell of a performer!" "Savvy, classy, hip ... a razor-sharp sense of humor," said LATalkRadio.com.

Live At The RRazz, San Francisco's premiere nightclub, has officially announced its opening (on January 17) in the historic Cadillac Building at 1000 Van Ness Avenue. The new spot will feature a full menu by renowned San Francisco chef Bronson Macomber, convenient
