AMNH Hosts Latin American Arts Festival on Saturday 3/19

Mexican dance group Alt-Tlachinolli will perform the centuries-old indigenous ritual dance tradition of the Aztecs using pre-Columbian instruments, rhythms, and regalia at the American Museum of Natural History's Latin American Arts festival.

1-1:30 pm

The celebration, free with Museum admission, will highlight creative art forms throughout Latin American cultures. Vibrant music and dance performances, interactive workshops, and multimedia art displays will introduce audiences to this region's unique cultural heritage.

This program is co-presented with Mano a Mano: MexicanCulture Without Borders/Cultura Mexicana Sin Fronteras; Media Noche/PR Dream; Latinos NYC; La Diva Latina Magazine; and ABYAYALA Arte y Cultura.
